This product contains yucca shidgera, which may not be healthy for pregnant mares and may cause absorption or abortion. Please consult your veterinarian prior to use in pregnant mares or foals.

If you are already feeding a joint supplement, you do not have to feed the initial loading dose. Also, many horses do just fine with 1 oz per day. You will have to experiment to see what dose reduces lameness (stay within the 1-4 oz per day range).
